A huge 'Thank you!' to St. Colman's Church, Carrickfergus and to St. John's Church,Templecorran, Ballycarry, who have generously gifted each of our pupils with a graphic retelling of the story of Jonathan Swift's 'Gulliver's Travels' as part of their celebrations marking the 300th anniversary of the original publication.
Rev. Nigel Kirkpatrick visited our school Assembly this morning to present each child with a copy and to tell us a bit of background information about Jonathan Swift's life and ministry and his local connections with Ballycarry and Kilroot. The children were delighted to receive these lovely books.
